Gurun, 10 November 2017 – Timbalan Presiden Sdr Abdul Jamil Haji Jalaludeen merangkap Pengerusi NUBE Northern Region hari ini turun ke Zon membantu Ketua Zon dan Pegawai-Pegawai NUBE NR dari Sungai Petani meninjau sekitar kawasan Sungai Petani dan Gurun, turut hadir Sdr Baskaran Letchumanan Naib Pengerusi, Sdr Mohamad Ilyas Bendahari Kehormat, Ahli Jawatankuasa Sdri Siti Haryati (Ketua Zon), Ahli-Ahli Jawatankuasa Kerja Sdri Nurul Huda, Sdr Elias dan Sdri Suhaili.
Lawatan bermula dari Maybank Sungai Dua yang terjejas teruk akibat banjir dan seterusnya ke Gurun dan Sungai Petani, antara Bank yang dilawati adalah

Tujuan lawatan adalah untuk membina semangat kerjasama yang perlu dipupuk antara satu sama lain bagi mewujudkan suasana kerja yang kondusif selaras dengan visi dan misi organisasi, pengisian program lawatan tersebut juga lebih kepada meningkatkan semangat berpasukan antara ahli-ahli dan kepimpinan dan selain itu juga mengemaskinikan data ahli-ahli.
Ahli -Ahli NUBE dari kedua Zon ini amat berpuashati dengan sesi penerangan dari lawatan kerja ini dan amat gembira dengan kehadiran Pegawai-Pegawai NUBE NR.
