An Excursion to Intramuros/Rizal Park
On the evening of May 13th, our visit concluded with a trip to the significant historical sites of Intramuros / Rizal Park. There, we had the privilege to take a photo with the statue of Jose Rizal, a national hero of the Philippines. Jose Rizal was a distinguished polymath and nationalist whose writings played a vital role in the Philippine struggle for independence after 333 years of Spanish colonial rule.
The officials from BDOEA graciously guided us through Fort Santiago, a poignant landmark within the historic park that captures both the triumphant and somber moments of Philippine history.
