Solidariti yang kukuh dan berkembang antara NUBE dengan Konfederasi Serikat Pekerja Seluruh Indonesia (KSPSI), terutamanya Presidennya Bro Andi Gani Nana Wea, adalah satu perjalanan yang membanggakan dan memuaskan.
Andi Gani, yang kini juga Presiden ASEAN Trade Union Council (ATUC), meluangkan masa untuk singgah dan melawat kami di NUBE bersama lapan orang rombongannya, berkongsi masa berkualiti dengan Setiausaha Agung NUBE, Bro J Solomon dan pegawai-pegawai.
Solomon sangat gembira mendengar daripada Andi Gani bahawa KSPSI telah mendapatkan sebidang tanah untuk Pusat Latihan KSPSI yang serupa dengan Pusat Latihan NUBE di Port Dickson.
Pembinaan Pusat Latihan KSPSI ini dijangka siap dalam masa satu tahun.
Para pemimpin juga membincangkan latihan dan bengkel rentas sempadan untuk pekerja Malaysia dan Indonesia.
NUBE percaya bahawa kepimpinan Andi Gani dalam KSPSI dan ATUC akan menjalin hubungan yang lebih erat dengan kesatuan sekerja di rantau ini, meningkatkan solidariti, pertukaran, penyelidikan, dan pembangunan yang penting untuk pertumbuhan dan kemajuan pekerja.
Kami mengucapkan selamat berjaya kepada Andi Gani dan rombongannya dalam perjalanan di rantau ini.
