Parlimen bubar, PRU15 dalam tempoh 60 hari

PETALING JAYA: Perdana Menteri Ismail Sabri Yaakob mengumumkan pembubaran Parlimen berkuat kuasa hari ini bagi membuka laluan kepada PRU15.
Pilihan raya perlu diadakan dalam tempoh 60 hari selepas pembubaran Parlimen.
Pengumuman itu dibuat hanya beberapa hari selepas Belanjawan 2023 dibentang, di sebalik spekulasi PRU akan diadakan sebelum tahun berakhir.
Langkah ini seiring dengan seruan dalam Umno yang mahu PRU diadakan segera, di sebalik bantahan daripada Pakatan Harapan (PH) dan Perikatan Nasional (PN).
Umno berhujah mandat baharu daripada rakyat diperlukan bagi membentuk kerajaan yang stabil, selepas tumbangnya kerajaan PH dua tahun lalu.
Seterunya bagaimanapun berkata PRU tidak perlu disegerakan kerana ancaman banjir, situasi ekonomi, dan wabak.
