Kesatuan Kebangsaan Pekerja-pekerja Bank (NUBE) meneruskan piket kebangsaan dengan mengadakan piket fasa keempat, yang berlangsung di pekarangan HSBC Bank Malaysia di Kota Bharu, Kelantan pada hari ini (24 Julai) ekoran sikap hipokrit HSBC Bank Malaysia meneruskan dasar mendiskriminasi dan menganiaya ahli-ahli NUBE kalangan B40 dan M40.
Selepas tidak mahu menyelesaikan 300 aduan industri yang difailkan oleh ahli-ahli NUBE sejak tahun 2019, dalam tindakan terbaharunya HSBC Bank Malaysia melengah-lengahkan pelarasan gaji bagi pekerja-pekerja kategori CSB (Customer Service Bankers) yang berkhidmat di bank tersebut.
Kelewatan pelarasan gaji dan keengganan mahu memuktamadkan Perjanjian Kolektif (CA) sejak dua tahun lalu, dengan sendiri menunjukkan HSBC Bank Malaysia dengan sengaja mahu mendendam ahli-ahli NUBE, selain tidak mahu menyelesaikan isu-isu tertunggak.
NUBE mendapati sikap angkuh HSBC Bank Malaysia berterusan seolah-olah tiada undang-undang yang boleh mengawal tindak-tanduk mereka.
Lebih 400 ahli dan pemimpin NUBE dari seluruh Semenanjung mengambil bahagian dalam piket fasa keempat yang berlangsung di hadapan HSBC Bank Cawangan Kelantan di Kota Bharu.
