DESAKAN Putrajaya untuk syarikat menumpukan pada aspek automasi ketika krisis koronavirus adalah “tidak bertanggungjawab” dan “tidak kena pada masanya”, kata Kongres Kesatuan Sekerja Malaysia (MTUC), kerana ia akan memburukkan lagi isu penggangguran dalam negara.
Setiausaha MTUC J Solomon berkata desakan itu dibuat ketika ribuan pekerja sedang berdepan potongan gaji dan dipaksa bercuti tanpa gaji, sementara ribuan yang lain berisiko kehilangan kerja akibat kesan virus itu terhadap ekonomi.
