MEMORANDUM KEPADA PERDANA MENTERI, YAB DATO’ SERI ISMAIL SABRI YAAKOB BERKENAAN RANG UNDANG-UNDANG KESATUAN SEKERJA 1959
Gabungan Membantah Kepelbagaian Kesatuan atau Coalition Against Multiplicity of Unions (CAMU) membantah beberapa pindaan yang disyorkan dalam meminda Akta Kesatuan Sekerja 1959. CAMU membantah peruntukan dalam RUU yang mewujudkan "kepelbagaian kesatuan sekerja" dan mahu ia ditolak. Struktur ‘Kesatuan Tunggal’ semasa harus dikekalkan.
Sehubungan dengan itu, CAMU telah menyerahkan memorandum berkaitan kepada YAB Perdana Menteri pada 2 Julai 2022 lalu.
Kerajaan diminta melibatkan Kesatuan Sekerja secara aktif dan konstruktif, menerusi rundingan dan perbincangan mengenai Rang Undang-Undang Akta Kesatuan Sekerja (Pindaan) 2022 sebelum ia dibaca untuk kali kedua di Dewan Rakyat.
