Jawatankuasa NUBE Cawangan Ipoh berkumpul pada 5 September 2020 untuk mengadakan satu majlis makan tengah hari khas untuk persaraan Bro Chen Ka Fatt yang dikasihi untuk mengingati jasa yang diberikan, penghormatan dan sebagai penghargaan.
Bro Chen Ka Fatt memulakan perjalanannya di kesatuan dengan menjadi IRC dari tahun 1982. Sejak itu dia berkhidmat untuk kesatuan sehingga dia bersara. Bermula sebagai IRC, dia menamatkan perkhidmatannya sebagai Bendahari Agong Kebangsaan, Setiausaha Cawangan, Jurulatih Nasional NUBE dan Perunding NUBE.
Ruangan itu dipenuhi dengan perasaan emosional ketika semua orang mula berkongsi pengalaman mereka bersama Bro Chen Ka Fatt. Ahli Jawatankuasa menyampaikan hadiah istimewa kepadanya sebagai tanda penghargaan dan peringatan.
Akhirnya, Bro Chen meminta semua orang untuk terus berkhidmat untuk NUBE dengan memberikan yang terbaik dan dia akan terus memberikan bimbingannya bila diperlukan.
