Perunding Perhubungan Perusahaan, Sdr Md Marzuki Ismail telah meluangkan masa sekitar sejam untuk menerangan mengenai peruntukan-peruntukan baharu yang diperkenalkan susulan pindaan ke atas Akta Kerja 1955.
Pindaan itu diluluskan oleh Parliman awal tahun dan ia sepatutnya dikuatkuasakan mulai 1 September 2022.
Antara kandungan pindaan ialah penambahan cuti bersalin daripada 60 hari ke 98 hari, penetapan cuti paterniti tujuh hari, pengurangan waktu kerja mingguan daripada 48 jam kepada 45 jam serta aturan kerja fleksibel untuk pekerja.
