Georgetown, Pulau Pinang – 25hb Februari 2017. Seminar Grassroots bagi NUBE Cawangan Wilayah Utara telah berlangsung di NUBE House pada hari ini.
Seramai 26 orang ahli NUBE telah menghadirkan diri untuk seminar ini yang telah disampaikan oleh Tenaga Pengajar Kebangsaan NUBE iaitu Saudara Chen Ka Fatt yang merupakan Bendahari Agung NUBE Malaysia dan Saudara Chee Yeeh Ceeu Naib Presiden NUBE Malaysia.
Seminar satu hari ini telah menyentuh beberapa topik asas berkaitan pengenalan diri ahli, sejarah & struktur NUBE, tugas dan tanggungjawab ahli, prosedur membuat aduan dan pengetahuan asas berkenaan Perjanjian Kolektif bersama MCBA/NUBE.
Aktiviti perbincangan dan presentasi berkumpulan juga telah diadakan. Peserta seminar juga telah mengambil bahagian dalam setiap topik yang diajar dengan bertanyakan soalan serta berkongsi pengalaman di tempat kerja masing-masing.
Sesi dialog juga telah diadakan di penghujung seminar ini dan upacara penutupan seminar telah ditutup dengan ucapan ringkas dan terima kasih kepada semua peserta seminar dan Ahli Jawatankuasa Cawangan, Ahli Jawatankuasa Kerja serta Wakil Sayap Wanita NUBE Wilayah Utara dalam menjayakan seminar ini oleh Saudara Mohamad Ilyas Humayoon Kabeer selaku Bendahari Kehormat NUBE Cawangan Wilayah Utara merangkap Ahli Exco NUBE Malaysia.
