KEMERIAHAN PROGRAM ‘MEET & GREET GS NUBE MALAYSIA - BRO SOLOMON’ - NUBE NR PKP
Georgetown 23/05/2024 - Perjumpaan Khas Setiausaha Agung NUBE, Sdr J Solomon bersama ahli-ahli NUBE cawangan Penang/Kedah/Perlis telah berlangsung pada hari Khamis, 23 Mei 2023. Perjumpaan dua sesi iaitu sesi pagi dan petang ini telah berlangsung dengan jayanya dengan kehadiran seramai 200 ahli dari Pulau Pinang, Kedah & Perlis.
Sesi pertama perjumpaan telah diadakan di NUBE House dan diikuti dengan makan tengah hari bersama Setiausaha Agung. Sejurus itu, sesi kedua pula telah diadakan di The Light Hotel Seberang Jaya yang telah dihadiri oleh ahli-ahli daripada Perlis, Kedah dan ahli-ahli di sekitar Zon Kulim, Bukit Mertajam, Juru dan Nibong Tebal.
Turut berlangsung ialah mesyuarat Setiausaha Agung NUBE bersama barisan kepimpinan Ahli Jawatankuasa Cawangan dan Ahli Jawatankuasa Kerja NUBE NR PKP. Sdr Abdul Jamil selaku Pengerusi NUBE cawangan PKP telah mempengerusikan mesyuarat tersebut dengan memberi kata-kata aluan kepada semua yang hadir. Setelah itu, agenda-agenda dan perancangan pelan kerja telah disampaikan sendiri oleh Sdr J Solomon kepada setiap Ahli Jawatankuasa yang hadir.
Program diteruskan dengan perjumpaan kedua dan makan malam bersama ahli-ahli yang hadir.
SUA NUBE Malaysia, Sdr J Solomon melalui ucapannya menyampaikan segala informasi berkaitan isu pembayaran bonus Perayaan (FA) dan Perjanjian Kolektif (CA) yang masih belum selesai berikutan sikap pihak MCBA yang menindas, mengkhianati dan tidak ikhlas terhadap kaum Pekerja.
Perjuangan yang masih belum selesai ini perlu dijayakan oleh setiap ahli Kesatuan. Inilah masanya untuk ahli-ahli teguhkan lagi Solidariti dan sokongan yang jitu kepada apa yang sedang diperjuangkan. Sememangnya, semangat perjuangan memerlukan pengorbanan.
Di akhir majlis, Pemimpin dan Ahli Kesatuan turut bersama meraikan Hari Ulang Tahun Kelahiran Setiausaha Agung NUBE Malaysia, Sdr J Solomon. Kesemua ahli yang hadir telah mengambil kesempatan yang amat berharga ini untuk berkongsi cerita dan pendapat masing-masing.
