NUBE House, Georgetown Pulau Pinang, 28/10/2022 - Walaupun hujan lebat membasahi bumi Pulau Mutiara petang Jumaat lepas, ianya tidak mematahkan semangat 150 ahli NUBE dari Penang, Kedah dan Perlis untuk menghadiri hadir Majlis Sambutan Deepavali 2022.
Turut hadir sama adalah mantan pemimpin NUBE NR-PKP dan pemimpin dari Kesatuan Sekerja Gabungan MTUC Bahagian Pulau Pinang bagi menyerikan lagi sambutan malam itu.
Majlis diraikan dengan ucapan aluan dari Saudara Abdul Jamil Haji Jalaludeen selaku Pengerusi Cawangan merangkap Timbalan Presiden NUBE Malaysia. Beliau menjelaskan istimewanya kita di NUBE NR-PKP, Deepavali disambut dengan penuh meriah dalam semangat kekeluargaan yang bersifat lebih inklusif, merentas sempadan agama, budaya dan kaum.
Beliau juga turut menyarankan agar ahli menggunakan setiap peluang yang ada untuk mengukuhkan semangat perpaduan melalui pelbagai aktiviti yang membabitkan pelbagai kaum. Perpaduan dan solidariti setiap ahli adalah kunci kepada kejayaan kesatuan yang kita kasihi ini.
Majlis diteruskan dengan jamuan makan malam, sesi nyanyian karaoke dan cabutan bertuah. Seluruh pimpinan NUBE NR-PKP mengucapkan ribuan terima kasih kepada semua yang terlibat bagi menjayakan Majlis Sambutan Deepavali 2022.
