Despite many sincere efforts by NUBE to settle the prevailing disputes amicably the bank is maintaining its adamant and arrogant stand by refusing social dialogue and continues to victimise NUBE members and Leaders.

Human Rights, Rule of Law and Freedom of Association are among the fundamental principles of the Charter of the Commonwealth. Malaysia is a member of the Commonwealth. Yet, HSBC Bank is a violator of these fundamental principles.
NUBE is left with no choice but to defend our members and leaders against the victimisation by this foreign bank from United Kingdom, a country that does not practice what it preaches.

In view of this, NUBE will resume the temporarily suspended trade dispute actions and expose the HSBC Bank’s, a banking institution with a vindictive attitude towards workers who pursued their rights to improve their terms and conditions of employment.
