MEMORANDUM KEPADA PERDANA MENTERI, YAB DATO’ SERI ISMAIL SABRI YAAKOB MENGENAI ISU DISKRIMINASI, PENGANIAYAAN DAN LAYANAN BURUK OLEH HSBC BANK MALAYSIA BHD KE ATAS PEKERJA B40 DAN M40
HSBC Bank Malaysia Bhd melaksanakan dasar menindas yang ketara sepanjang lima tahun lalu ke atas pekerja-pekerja B40 dan M40. NUBE berhadapan dengan siri halangan dalam urusannya dengan HSBC Bank Malaysia Bhd, terutamanya dalam berunding dan menangani pertikaian-pertikaian yang timbul akibat intimidasi, diskriminasi dan percubaan memusnahkan NUBE.
Penyelesaian ke atas 300 kes yang melibatkan rungutan ahli-ahli kami telah dengan sengaja dilengah-lengahkan oleh HSBC Bank Malaysia Bhd. Ahli-ahli NUBE juga berhadapan dengan tindakan penamatan kerja, pada asasnya pemusnahan kesatuan sekerja sebagai tindakan berulang HSBC Bank Malaysia Bhd dalam melanggar undang-undang dan peraturan buruh.
NUBE percaya bahawa campur tangan YAB Perdana Menteri akan melindungi hak pekerja B40 dan M40, daripada penindasan, penganiayaan dan diskriminasi HSBC Bank Malaysia Bhd.
Sehubungan dengan itu, NUBE telah menyerahkan memorandum kepada YAB Perdana Menteri semasa Persidangan Tiga Tahunan MTUC di Kuala Lumpur, 2 Julai 2022.
