Putrajaya isytihar cuti umum hari buang undi
KUALA LUMPUR – Kerajaan hari ini mengisytiharkan 9 Mei sebagai hari kelepasan am tambahan bagi seluruh negara sempena hari mengundi PRU14.
Menurut Pejabat Perdana Menteri, ini bagi membolehkan rakyat Malaysia menunaikan tanggungjawab mereka sebagai pengundi berikutan pengumuman Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya (SPR) mengenai tarikh hari mengundi PRU14 itu merupakan hari bekerja.
“Pengisytiharan cuti umum itu dibuat berdasarkan Seksyen 8 Akta Hari Kelepasan 1951 bagi Semenanjung Malaysia dan Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan,” menurut kenyataan itu.
Bagi Sabah dan Sarawak, Kerajaan-Kerajaan Negeri hendaklah mengisytiharkan hari kelepasan am tambahan pada tarikh tersebut mengikut Ordinan Hari Kelepasan Am masing-masing, menurut kenyataan itu.
