NUBE pernah mendesak agar kerajaan melaksanakan sekatan (lockdown) menyeluruh awal-awal lagi. Namun, kami menghargai keputusan terkini yang akan berkuat kuasa 1 Jun ini.
Sebilangan ahli kami dan keluarga mereka turut dijangkiti. Ada yang melaporkan mereka tidak mendapat perhatian dan rawatan yang diperlukan dalam kadar yang segera, sama ada di hospital kerajaan mahupun swasta.
Oleh itu, bank dan institusi kewangan juga harus diletakkan di bawah 'lockdown' menyeluruh selama 14 hari, secara berperingkat. Ini akan membantu membendung jangkitan.
Kami yakin YAB PM akan juga mendesak MOSTI dan MITI supaya mempercepatkan program vaksin untuk Barisan Hadapan dalam industri perbankan.
