Strict Compliance of COVID-19 SOPs save our lives and the family.
 
We have received a letter from the President of MCBA assuring us the member Banks are equally concerned, as we are, to have in place stringent health and safety protocols to flatten the curve.

Please ensure SOPs are in place and is practiced at your workplaces and should you have any doubts, please refer to your immediate Officer/Branch Manager/ Head of Department and if you are still not at ease, please refer to your IRC or Branch Committee for assistance.

All members need to comply with the Bank’s SOPs strictly without compromising your safety as we notice that too many cases are being reported from among Bank workers.
Protecting your life is of our utmost importance, so, please ensure not only your workplace is safe but your continuous compliance to SOP outside the workplace is equally important.

Banks are allowing our members to work remotely as there is a surge in new cases and fatalities. For those who are working from home, it is important that you stay at home unless you have reasonable excuse to leave home and comply the SOP.

Meanwhile, it is unfortunate the authorities are delaying the vaccine for banking frontliners. MCBA has been following up with the authorities since March 2021. In addition, NUBE has been reminding the authorities and we hope to get the vaccine shots for the frontliners as soon as possible.

Meanwhile we need to take all precautions to ensure a safe workplace and also refrain from moving around freely without complying the SOPs set by the MKN and the Banks.
