MTUC / ILO-MRC – BANGLADESH EMBASSY’S COOPERATION ON DISTRIBUTION OF FOOD ITEMS TO NEEDY BANGLADESH WORKERS
Perak – 1st May 2020
The celebration of Labour Day this year had brought some joy to some Bangladeshi workers in Hilir Perak as the MTUC/ILO MRC in collaboration with the Bangladesh Embassy continue to provide assistance to these workers who had appeal for aid during the COVID -19 pandemic.
The volunteers from MTUC consisting of NUBE Ipoh branch officials had distributed food items to 32 Bangladeshi workers who were located at Teluk Intan, Bagan Dato, Beruas, Hutan Melintang, Chenderong Balai and Parit.
Over these 3 days, the volunteers have successfully delivered the food items to 185 workers in Perak.
We wish to extend our appreciation to all volunteers from Perak for coming forward to assist in this noble activity.
