KUALA LUMPUR – Kesatuan Kebangsaan Pekerja-pekerja Bank (NUBE) mahu Bank Negara dan Kementerian Kewangan bertindak “segera dan tegas” untuk memastikan Citibank menghormati hak serta kepentingan pekerjanya susulan langkah bank itu menjual Operasi Perniagaan Penggunanya sejak dua tahun lalu.
Setiausaha Agung NUBE, J Solomon berkata, langkah itu perlu memandangkan Citibank enggan membayar “sebarang pampasan kepada pekerja” selepas melaksanakan langkah tersebut.
