PORT DICKSON: 27 Mei: Forum Hari Buruh 2023 yang diadakan sempena sambutan Hari Buruh, yang berlangsung di Pusat Latihan NUBE di sini hari ini, berakhir dengan mencapai objektif program, yang turut menghasilkan pelbagai input dan pandangan bernas.
Pelbagai pandangan telah diutarakan oleh penceramah ucaptama dan para ahli panel, yang pasti akan memanfaatkan ahli-ahli NUBE dan para hadirin.
Forum menampilkan Sdr Boniface Lobo dari LOBO & Associates yang menyampaikan ucaptama bertemakan "The Role of Administrative Law in Industrial Relations".
Dalam pada itu, forum turut menampailkan empat ahli panel.
Alex De Silva, dari Bodipalar Ponnudurai De Silva, mengupas tajuk "The Consitutional Safeguards for Trade Unionism"; Ravi Neeko menyentuh tajuk "The Impact of Amendments to the Labour Laws on Trade Unionism in Malaysia" dan Sdr A Sivanantahan, pengamal kesatuan sekerja dan hubungan perhubungan industri, bercakap di bawah tajuk "The Role of Industrial Relations Practitioners in the Trade Union Struggle". Sdri A Karuna, Timbalan Setiausaha Agung NUBE pula mengupas tajuk "The Struggle of Trade unions Within the Current Legal Framework".
Forum kali ini bertemakan "Fight For Social Justice: NUBE's Legal Advances".
Sdr Michael Tan, Presiden NUBE yang bertindak sebagai moderator telah menyampaikan plak tanda penghargaan kepada penceramah ucaptama dan ahli-ahli panel. Dua orang peguam yang turut mewakili NUBE dan menang dalam kes-kes yang dibawa turut dihargai.
Turut hadir pada majlis penyampaian plak, Setiausaha Agung NUBE, Sdr J Solomon.
