NUBE membuat laporan polis terhadap Sim, dakwa campur tangan terhadap Bantuan Raya lapor The Daily Express.
NUBE berkata hari ini lima laporan polis telah dibuat bagi pihak anggota di seluruh Semenanjung Malaysia semalam yang mendakwa dakwaan salah guna kuasa oleh Menteri Sumber Manusia Steven Sim Chee Keong.
The Daily Express melaporkan NUBE sebagai menyatakan menteri membuat perjanjian dengan MCBA mengenai elaun "Bantuan Perayaan" yang ahli kesatuan berhak mendapat di bawah memorandum perjanjian (MoA) tanpa berunding dengan kesatuan dan mengecualikan mereka daripada perbincangan tersebut.
Menteri l menyalahgunakan kuasa ini adalah salah guna yang serius di Kementerian yang sepatutnya melindungi dalam 16 juta pekerja.
