The MTUC/ILO MRC Team shares similar motives with the Bangladesh Embassy as MTUC Johor Division joined forces to provide assistance to Bangladeshi workers who have lost their source of income due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The team of 13 MTUC Officials was lead by the Johor Branch Division Secretary Bro Boscko Augustin assisted by the Branch Division Chairman Bro Tan Eng Hong.
The team took the responsibility to deliver the whole of Johor which started on the 2nd May 2020.
A special briefing was conducted and later the committees collected the food items from Mydin which was immediately distributed to the needy workers all over Johor. Reaching out to the workers was also filled with challenges but the team manage to overcome all obstacles.
As Johor is a large area, the team hope that they can cover as much area as fast as possible.
We would like to thank our valuable volunteers once again for being great team players.
