NUBE SMJ meneruskan latihan Kesihatan dan Keselamatan Pekerjaan(OSH) untuk ahli-ahli di rantau selatan selepas ia direhatkan hampir 2 tahun sejak 2016.
Pada 24hb November 2018 seramai 30 orang IRC dari Seremban, Johor dan Melaka telah menghadiri seminar selama satu hari ini bertempat di Hotel Tropical In, Johor Bahru.
Peserta diperkenalkan kepada Akta OSH terutama kepada pelbagai bahagian dan peraturannya. Terdapat juga pengenalan ringkas mengenai Sejarah OSH termasuk tragedi Kemalangan Bright Sparkler, Ergonomik, HIRARC, Bahaya di tempat kerja , Kawalan Risiko, Kajian Kes, Konvensyen ILO dan masa depan OSH di peringkat antarabangsa.
Seminar ini dikendalikan oleh Tenaga Pengajar NUBE yang juga Presiden NUBE merangkap Setiausaha Kehormat Cawangan NUBE SMJ Sdr Tan Eng Hong.
