Padang Kota Lama, Georgetown 18hb Ogos 2018 -NUTP semenanjung Malaysia telah menganjurkan Hari Sukan buat kali Ke-7 di negeri Pulau Mutiara iaitu Pulau Pinang. Seramai 500 ahli NUTP di Semenanjung Malaysia telah menyertai larian tersebut. Acara telah dimulakan dengan senam robik dan diteruskan dengan larian sejauh 5 kilometer.
NUBE Northern Region-PKP telah dijemput khas untuk turut sama memeriahkan pertandingan larian ini yang telah diketuai oleh Naib-Presiden NUBE Sdr Chee Yeeh Ceeu.Sdr T. Eswaran telah menjadi juara kategori jemputan dengan catatan masa selama 18minit 05saat yang juga merupakan catatan masa keseluruhan terbaik dalam semua kategori yang dipertandingkan.
Aturcara Hari Sukan NUTP diteruskan dengan majlis makan malam yang telah dirasmikan oleh Ketua Menteri Pulau Pinang Y.A.B Tuan Chow Kon Yeow dan Sdr Abdul Jamil Haji Jalaludeen selaku Timbalan Presiden NUBE merangkap Naib Pengerusi MTUC Bahagian Pulau Pinang turut hadir sebagai tetamu jemputan VVIP.
NUBE ingin mengucapkan ribuan terima kasih dan syabas buat pucuk Kepimpinan NUTP Pusat bagi menganjurkan acara sebegini yang cukup meriah sekaligus dapat mengeratkan ukhwah kesatuan NUTP - NUBE.
