Hari Pertama Seminar telah bermula di VOUK Hotel, Georgetown, Pulau Pinang semalam dengan dentuman para peserta yang aktif lagi vokal.
Seramai 30 Jawatankuasa Penyelaras (IRCs') dari serata Penang/Kedah/Perlis hadir ke seminar tiga hari dua malam ini.
Sdr Abdul Jamil Haji Jalaludeen, selaku Pengerusi Cawangan NUBE NR-PKP merangkap Timbalan Presiden NUBE Malaysia telah membuat Ucaptama Pembukaan Seminar.
Sdr Jamil menekankan pentingnya ilmu dan solidariti dalam Kesatuan demi kebajikan dan kesejahteraan semua serta menyarankan supaya para peserta mengambil peluang ini untuk memanfaatkan diri dengan kehadiran para Tenaga Pengajar berpengatahuan dan berpengalaman.
Seminar kali ini dikendalikan oleh Sdri A. Karuna selaku Ketua Tenaga Pengajar Kebangsaan NUBE merangkap Timbalan Setiausaha Agung NUBE, turut dibantu oleh Sdr Chee Yeeh Ceeu serta Sdr Yushamizan Yusoff.
Sesi hari ini dimulakan dengan sesi perkenalan para ahli serta pendedahan kepada peranan, kepentingan hak, kebajikan bersama, dan tanggungjawab Ahli Jawatankuasa Penyelaras (IRC), sebagai pemimpin di tempat kerja.
Semua peserta yang hadir telah bergiat aktif dalam sesi perkenalan, mendalami ilmu perjanjian Kolektif serta Perlembagaan NUBE.
Para peserta seronok dengan sesi istirahat dan santai solidariti yang dirangka oleh Ahli Jawatankuasa Biro Pendidikan NUBE NR PKP Sdri Siti Haryati Kamal dan Sdr Mohamad Rizal Othman.
