RM.id Rakyat Merdeka - Presiden Konfederasi Serikat Pekerja Seluruh Indonesia (KSPSI) Andi Gani Nena Wea menerima delegasi pimpinan serikat pekerja Malaysia, Presiden National Union of Bank Employees (NUBE) Malaysia Solomon dan Mr. Abdul Jamil.
Pertemuan dilakukan di Gedung DPP KSPSI, Jakarta, Senin (3/10).
Dalam pertemuan tersebut, kata Andi Gani, dibahas masalah kerja sama antara KSPSI dan NUBE Malaysia dalam bidang vokasi dan advokasi untuk buruh migran Indonesia yang bekerja di Malaysia.
"Kerja sama ini menjadi bukti eratnya hubungan KSPSI dengan NUBE Malaysia. Ini juga menjadi salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kompetensi angkatan kerja dengan pelatihan vokasi," katanya.
Andi Gani yang juga Pimpinan Konfederasi Buruh ASEAN (ATUC) menegaskan, keterampilan vokasi dan advokasi bagi buruh sangat diperlukan. Apalagi, tantangan menghadapi industri 4.0 sudah didepan mata.
"Pendidikan vokasi dan advokasi sangat penting untuk membentuk pekerja makin terampil serta profesional," ucapnya.
Untuk diketahui, kerja sama KSPSI pimpinan Andi Gani Nena Wea bersama NUBE Malaysia sudah berlangsung selama 10 tahun.
