Pada 19 Februari 2022, NUBE SMJ telah menganjurkan Seminar Grassroot kali kedua. Seminar kali ini telah diadakan di Melaka. Seminar sehari dimulakan dengan saringan ujian kendiri Covid-19 membabitkan kesemua peserta, termasuk pegawai-pegawai cawangan. Peserta datang dari kawasan Melaka, Seremban dan Batu Pahat.
Fokus seminar merangkumi sejarah, misi dan struktur NUBE, serta peranan dan tanggungjawab ahli. Kejayaan berterusan NUBE bergantung kepada ahli, bukan sahaja pemahaman visi dan misi NUBE, tetapi juga mempunyai tujuan dan fokus yang dikongsi bersama.
Kandungan seminar juga memfokus kepada perbincangan mengenai kepentingan kritikal perjanjian kolektif, iaitu elemen penting dalam hubungan industri yang harmoni. Bro Tan Eng Hong (Setiausaha Cawangan), Bro Kamarudin (Pengerusi Cawangan) dan Sis Evelyn Chan (Naib Pengerusi) bertindak sebagai fasilitator seminar.
Keseluruhannya, seminar ini mencapai sasaran yang ditetapkan. Ia terbukti daripada maklum balas peserta selepas seminar. Semua peserta kini tidak sabar menunggu cawangan untuk menganjurkan seminar susulan yang seterusnya.
