Georgetown, Penang 21hb Julai 2017 – “Kita patut bermegah duduk di bawah payung NUBE” antara kata-kata semangat daripada Pengerusi NUBE Wilayah Utara Sdr Abdul Jamil Haji Jalaludeen yang juga merangkap Timbalan Presiden NUBE Malaysia di dalam ucapan beliau di majlis hari raya Aidilfitri NUBE NR 2017 malam ini kepada semua hadirin yang merupakan ahli-ahli NUBE NR. Di kesempatan ini juga Sdr Abdul Jamil telah mengucapkan Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri kepada semua para hadirin yang datang.
Majlis Hari Raya Aidilfitri NUBE NR telah diadakan hari ini di NUBE NR House bagi menyambung tradisi cawangan dalam mengadakan sambutan bagi setiap perayaan yang disambut oleh ahli-ahli NUBE NR. Majlis telah dimulakan dengan kata-kata aluan oleh pengerusi majlis Sdr Zaini Halidan bersama-sama Sdri Nurul Fasihah bagi mengalu-alukan kedatangan para dif kehormat yang terdiri daripada Saudara-saudara Secretariat, Ahli Jawatankuasa Cawangan, Ahli Jawatankuasa Kerja, Sayap-sayap Wanita NUBE NR, Ahli Jawatankuasa Penyelaras dan ahli-ahli NUBE NR yang datang dari Kedah, Penang dan Perlis.
Majlis ini dimeriahkan lagi dengan persembahan dari Kumpulan Koir yang terdiri daripada Sayap-sayap Wanita NUBE NR dengan mendendangkan lagu “Suasana Hari Raya” nyanyian asal dari Biduwanita Syarifah Aini. Sesi karaoke lagu-lagu hari raya juga telah diadakan oleh Ahli-ahli NUBE NR bagi memeriahkan lagi majlis pada malam ini.
Ahli-Ahli yang hadir juga telah menikmati pelbagai juadah enak yang disediakan di samping dapat bertemu mesra mengeratkan silaturahim dan bermaaf-maafan sempena Aidilfitri dalam suasana riang ria Aidilfitri.
