Difahamkan, mangsa merupakan warganegara Bangladesh berusia 40 tahun dipercayai mati di tempat kejadian akibat mengalami kecederaan parah di bahagian kepala dan badan.
Ketua Polis Daerah Iskandar Puteri, Asisten Komisioner Noor Hashim Mohamad berkata, polis menerima maklumat mengenai kejadian tersebut kira-kira jam 9.15 pagi sebelum bergegas ke tempat kejadian.
“Mengikut siasatan awal, polis percaya kejadian berlaku akibat tali yang memegang cangkuk tersebut putus lalu menimpa kepala mangsa yang ketika itu ada di bawah.
“Bagaimanapun, buat masa ini polis masih tidak menemui sebarang elemen yang boleh mengaitkan dengan unsur khianat atau jenayah,” katanya ketika dihubungi, di sini, sebentar tadi.
Noor Hashim berkata, mayat mangsa kemudiannya di bawa ke Hospital Sultanah Aminah (HSA) untuk bedah siasat.
Katanya kes diklasifikasikan sebagai kematian mengejut (SDR).
