Sungai Petani, 13 Oktober 2016 – Satu mesyuarat tahunan di Public Bank Berhad cawangan Sungai Petani telah diadakan pada hari ini. NUBE Northern Region telah dijemput untuk menghadiri mesyuarat tersebut. Saudara Zaini Bin Halidan yang merupakan Ahli Jawatankuasa NUBE Wilayah Utara bersama-sama Saudari Nurul , Saudara Elias , Saudari Siti Hayati ,Saudara Azrul dan Saudara Syukri Ahli Jawatankuasa Kerja telah hadir ke mesyuarat tersebut.
Di dalam mesyuarat tersebut, Saudara Zaini telah memberi penerangan kepada ahli-ahli berkenaan dengan berita-berita terkini mengenai Kesatuan. Di samping itu juga, Saudara Zaini ada menerangkan kepentingan Kesatuan terhadap kaum pekerja terutamanya dalam sektor perbankan buat masa ini.
Beberapa isu-isu semasa juga telah di kemaskini kepada ahli- ahli yang hadir. Kesemua ahli di cawangan tersebut faham akan penerangan yang diberi dan berterima kasih kepada pihak cawangan NUBE NR kerana sudi hadir. Selain dari itu, seisi soal jawab juga telah diadakan diantara ahli dan pegawai yang hadir.
Kehadiran Saudara Zaini bersama-sama Ahli Jawatankuasa Kerja yang lain amat dihargai dan diucapkan ribuan terima kasih oleh wakil dari Ahli Jawatan Kuasa Penyelaras di cawangan tersebut.
Selain dari menghadiri mesyuarat tahunan tersebut, beberapa bank sekitar Sungai Petani juga sempat dikunjungi untuk mengemaskini maklumat kepada wakil Jawatan Kuasa Penyelaras & ahli-ahli.
