Pasukan MTUC / ILO MRC berkongsi objektif yang serupa dengan Kedutaan Bangladesh ketika MTUC Bahagian Johor bekerjasama untuk memberi bantuan kepada pekerja Bangladesh yang kehilangan sumber pendapatan mereka kesan pandemik COVID -19.
Pasukan Sukarelawan yang terdiri daripada 13 pegawai MTUC diketuai oleh Setiausaha Bahagian Cawangan Sdra Boscko Augustin yang dibantu oleh Pengerusi Bahagian Cawangan Sdra Tan Eng Hong.
Pasukan ini mengambil tanggungjawab untuk melakukan pengagihan di seluruh Johor yang bermula pada 2 Mei 2020.
Satu taklimat khas telah dijalankan dan kemudiannya sukarelawan mengumpul barang makanan dari Mydin dan segera diagihkan kepada pekerja yang memerlukan di seluruh Johor.
Bertemu pekerja adalah satu cabaran tetapi pasukan berjaya mengatasi semua cabaran tersebut. Memandangkan Johor adalah kawasan yang luas, pasukan berharap mereka dapat merangkumi kawasan seluas mungkin.
Kami ingin mengucapkan sekali lagi terima kasih kepada sukarelawan kami yang dihargai kerana menjadi pasukan yang hebat.
