Kunjungan hormat tersebut disambut baik oleh Timbalan Presiden NUBE Malaysia merangkap Pengerusi NUBE Cawangan Wilayah Utara iaitu Sdr Abdul Jamil Haji Jalaludeen bersama-sama barisan kepimpinan utama NUBE Cawangan Wilayah Utara.
Di perjumpaan tersebut, kedua-dua belah pihak telah berbincang mengenai isu-isu semasa serta arah tuju sektor industri perbankan.
En. Lee Voon Seng telah memaklumkan bahawa beliau bakal bersara pada bulan Mei ini dan memperkenalkan penggantinya iaitu En. Lai Tak Ming.
